Whether the booster pump can be used efficiently and long life, in addition to the type selection, other factors are the biggest influence is the late installation. Common installation errors are as follows:

1. There are more bends on the way to the booster pump.

If there are more elbows used on the inlet road, some flow resistance will be added. And bends should turn in a straight direction, not in a horizontal direction to avoid pooling air. The correct method is that the suction pipe of the booster pump should be as short as possible, and if the suction pipe is drawn from the low pool, the pump suction orifice is as low as possible from the liquid level, and the maximum safety allowance of 10.33-cavitation allowance-1 is not more than-0.5 of the pipe resistance.

 

2. Horizontal level or upwarping when installed on a water pipe road

This will cause the intake pipe to gather air, reduce the vacuum of the pipes and pumps, reduce the pump suction head, and reduce the volume of water. The correct approach is that the horizontal section should be slightly skewed toward the water source, not the level, and not upward.

 

3. The inlet is directly connected to the elbow.

This will make the water flow through the elbow into the impeller spread unevenly. When the diameter of the inlet pipe is larger than that of the pump inlet, the eccentric diameter changing pipe should be installed. Some of the eccentrically variable diameter tube planes are to be mounted above and some of the oblique surfaces are installed below. Otherwise the aggregate air, water output reduced or unable to pump water, and there is a sound of impact and so on. If the diameter of the inlet pipe and the pump inlet is equal, a constant pipe shall be added between the pump inlet and the elbow, and the length of the straight pipe shall not be less than 2 / 3 times the diameter of the water pipe.

 

4. The outlet is above the normal water level in the outlet pool.

If the outlet is above the normal water level in the outlet pool, the pump head is added, but the discharge is reduced. If it is necessary for the outlet to rise above the water level of the outlet pool due to the limitation of the ground conditions, the elbow and short pipe should be installed at the outlet to make the water pipe become siphonic and lower the height of the outlet.
